TEDO HT Band - Implementation

Surface preparation

The surface must be clean and dry, free from dust or loose rust. Manual or mechanical brushing will be carried out to achieve a surface condition corresponding to degree ST3 of ISO 8501-1.

Implementation temperature

The temperature of the surface to be coated must be at least 5° above the dew point, with a minimum of 10°C.

Application of the tape

The tape is applied in a spiral, under tension to ensure contact between the adhesive and the entire surface to be coated, with a minimum overlap of 50%*.

After coating, smooth the strip well to close the turns and form a continuous coating.

*To achieve class A of EN 12068, coat with 66% coverage or apply mechanical protection
